Doug at the Negro Baseball Museum in Kansas City
“I wanted to drop you a note to tell you how much I enjoyed meeting you at the Negro Baseball Museum in Kansas City this summer. I teach Advanced Placement Biology and Advanced Placement Chemistry in a rural high school. Your message about education was an inspiration to me and I hope to use it in my classroom this year. I will also have an interesting story to tell my student when we start learning about molecular geometries. I can tell them I discussed the strategy of learning these shapes with a major league baseball player. I will forever remember meeting you and the message you set forth in your discussion at the museum. Thanks again for sharing your time and memories at the museum.”
