I wanted to create a place that shares my complete body of work with the people that have supported me all these years. The fans, my teammates, my family, the game of baseball, have all made this possible. They have provided the true inspiration for my writing. My father passed away 10 years ago on this day, a day when I recorded my 1000th hit and in those fragile moments, divine passion was created. I became a writer.  It granted me the opportunity to share the true human element that shapes a life in the game. I have always wanted all people to have access to each other with understanding, to find ways to bridge our differences, to use the game that I love as a pivot point around which we can be like-minded and unified. This site is my work, my thoughts, my love, my bridge. I would like to thank my entire team of people who helped make this site possible. You will learn who they are as this site evolves and expands.
